I don't know if it still applies, but we I went it worked something like this:
Join mailing list
Wait for Xav to email out about available slots (I guess every few weeks)
Sign up quickly... I think it's first come first served each time a new set of slots are released.
I looked into booking a double session with a friend but he couldn't make it so I told Xav I was happy to share a slot with anyone and I think he slotted me in when someone else cancelled.
