I'm leaning towards some cheap carbon clinchers from China tbh, I could probably get some ~50mm 25mm wide wheels on Novatec hubs for around £300... Might not be better than some Stans Grails to Hopes, but will look rad ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@andyp I've had pretty good experiences with Novatec stuff, it probably depends on what hubs you get, how they're fitted together and a sprinkling of luck.

My reasons for not getting Chinese carbon are diminishing now I've got a bike with discs. No dodgy braking, no wearing the rim down every time I brake.

Only thing holding me back is I'd be sticking them on my 4S disc commuter with SKS Longboards. Would I be aero neutral with 50mm crabon?
