• Is breast milk vegan if it's from a carnivorous woman? Although, if you think about it, all milk is breast milk, so the term is not useful.
How about milk if it's from a woman who has lived her whole life eating nothing but ethically sourced human milk?
Would Whole Foods Market be interested in marketing my new range of vegan dairy products?

  • Name one carnivorous human.

  • all milk is breast milk, so the term is not useful

All milk that comes from mammals is breast milk; milk is a term that has been applied to the liquid derived from other sources as well.
So breast milk is a useful term.

  • Any mother who claims her darling (but ugly) two month old baby is a vegan is probably doing so because she is a vegan. Therefore the baby is only getting milk from a vegan not a cheeseburger. A non-vegan mother probably thinks this is a pointless discussion and does not care about the subtleties of how mothers milk is categorised by the sausage dodgers.
