Ed has coaxed me into trying 650b. And i wanted a cheap do it all, throw-around, bike-camp bike. Found this frame new on ebay for £100. It's a proper german style touring frame with plenty of mounts and huge clearances. Apparently designed for use with either 26" or 700c, so 650b should work well. Bought some heavy duty Shimano wheels. Already had the forks. Going either flared drops with Shimano 5800 (already got the brifters) and mechanical disc brakes. Or flat/swept back bars with some Shimano MTB thumb shifters and hydraulic brakes, like Deore. Will probably fit Gravel King 27.5 1.7" and fenders, or some knobbly MTB tyres.

And then a front rack ofc.
Will try to keep the costs to a minimum.
