Oh. I thought you had something like a 27t.
That's less than V is running: (56 x) 12-25 and yet to lose it.
Have you considered this? Much arro...

What you gain on the aeros you more than lose in transmission losses in the gear box.

That reply needs some sort of smiley.
Doesn't it?

At least the flats work with midfoot.

21:53 in lovely conditions on the F11 today, and a new pb by just over a minute.
Even so, I felt like I had a pretty poor ride... I just felt flat all morning and my power was 10% down relative to Tuesday. Vomming just before the descent didn't help either. Definitely improvements to be made if I come back again.

I was on the piss yesterday from lunch into the evening for our 10 pin bowling matches. Other than a sore wanking arm, I actually feel ok. This might not translate to a good ride on the E2 however.. we'll see.

Just tootled round the block to check the new gear has bedded in. I think I'm gonna melt on the A11.

I've been ill for 2 days.

• #12711
Congrats! That's a big cunk of improvement!
You vommed during the race!? Did you eat too much before. But commitment!
-
• #12712
I started the bowling with two strikes and finished without cracking 100 in either game. Luckily I ride better than I bowl.
Can you cough and splutter on the other 119 riders please? I need the win money.

That's 'doing a Heppie'.

Maybe get those bumpers up, and the stand to roll the ball down. Like the kids!
-
• #12715
Bumpers were banned. I wasn't even the worst bowler. I may have been the wobbliest though.

Good ride man - new PB by a minute is massive! Were you wearing a forum cap? Spied someone in one just as I rolled out to the start. Did you actually vom on the course?! I'd have definitely crashed!
This was my first 10 - I think I prefer the long distances having done today - it's absolute agony! Ended up with 20:32 which was nice (always a PB on your first!) but totally overcooked the start and paid for it later. Also that double roundabout at the first turn was a total hassle - so many cars for 8:30am.
If that was you I spied I'll say hi next time!
-
• #12717
Wowsers, you did a 20:32 and only managed a 56 on the H25/2? You've got potential to go much faster in both.

Perfect day for a race - props to those who've finished and good luck to those about to. Hippo, you still riding Bentley tomorrow?
-
• #12719
Thanks Hippy. Yeah they were the first two races I've done so really need to learn more about pacing and things. Also need a proper aero setup - need to find a disc, decent stem, hide cables etc. Lots to work on! Need a proper aero suit as well, my club kit is like a sack. Just need to find some cash!

Some fast times off the Tring course this morning.
-
• #12721
That's the plan, yeah. I want to get a 50 on the board - if I can PB all the better, if I can nab another club record I'd be ecstatic (for me that means a nod and a grin).

• #12722
Not as fast as my time later this afternoon...

• #12723
Need an aero stem (to fit pro missile evo bars) and an aero front brake. Any alternatives to pro missile evo stem and omega X tririg front brake? They seem impossible to get hold of!

Dilemma: I'm entered in the H50/8 tomorrow morning, but I'm in Prague and just had my first beer, in the sun. 8pm flight: the beer is so good here, it could go horribly wrong.

I use Magura RT8s. They're probably easier to get but even more spendy than TriRig. EVO Stems sometimes appear on TTF second hand but you're still paying a lot for them.
Thanks - will check it out
