I seem to remember that back then I saw cranks and rings were 480g without the spindle for the Sisl2....but i just checked again...seems i was wrong. Agreed 40-50g is unimportant in the real world...except if you're trying to get under 6kg :)

Nicely done.

But on a par with "Camp and YOLO"?

But the weight difference is tiny, with the red crank being 60g or so heavier
How much actually are the lightest SISL2s? My red cranks are 525g with chainrings and axle. Without chainrings that makes them around 400g for arms and spider. Sure, the spider isnt detachable but who really swaps cranks between bikes that often? Or has the weird cannondale tool for that matter. That said, I'd love some spiderings on my CAAD6

The claim weight is 484g with the SiSL, Spidering and the spindle for the compact version.
The weight of the chainset without the spindle;
With spindle, showing claim weight a little off;
So it's actually lighter than the SRAM Red chainset.

Has anybody tried a 30mm tyre on their caad12 yet? I know 28 fits but if I can a 30 then I'll go get them instead.

• #5363
It can, as long it's a true 30mm like the Challenge.

Kind of, I had some issues getting Evans to allow me to swap a wheel into a CAAD12 with a Strada Bianca mounted, but I believe it'll work.

I don't know how anyone managed to change gear, with Ergo in that position.

Also the cranks length have a small factor in the weight too, what length is it?

An update on the CAAD 10 Disc. Taken it out on some proper gravel / sand / fire roads last night and this morning. Happy to report that it's not put a foot wrong with 28s.
I also, mostly for a laugh, stuck a 26" wheel on the front. It has clearance for a 1.2" tire then. Would drop the BB a bit too much though I suspect. Has anyone tried a 650b wheelset yet? @edscoble ?

How shit are the FSA chainrings? Today when cleaning the bike I could feel them flex when rubbing them down with babywipes. Should I get praxis or spider rings?
In Mandarin, Gossamer means boat anchor.
