OK, but I think it's important to remember that your dad still worked really hard and that bus were mostly never late. That seems to rather overshadow your life achievements.
Sorry, I actually have no idea who's a bus driver's son.
In other news, the Women's Equality Party have lodged a formal complaint over Barnet. I suspect that amounts to a legal challenge without the money. I expect other parties will follow suit shortly.

It may seem clumsy and trowelled on thick if you follow politics, but it is aimed at the huge swathes of peopke who may hear it only once bc they make zero effort to seek out info on the candidates.
I don't think it's irrelevant either.

I voted for the Womens equality party, and the BNP - no pigeon hole for me.

Yeah but when your father gives you millions and your only job was gifted to you by a relative, why would you mention it?

Understandable, but not quite. LOB was started because the LCC has always been non-party political and following conversion to a charity has been unable to issue party-political recommendations in any case. That's the main difference between the organisations.

Didn't need polling card or ID, so was able to vote for myself and a few of my neighbours by going to different desks.

Khan is predicted to get 57% of the final vote, which would be the biggest share of the vote since 2000 when Livingstone got 58%

Owen Jones says:
It's over. Sadiq Khan is London's next mayor, having defeated a
Conservative campaign of fear, bigotry and racism. Zac Goldsmith is a
disgraced man, his gutter campaign rejected by the people of London.
But don't just blame him. This campaign was orchestrated by the
Conservative Party from the very top, and they must never be allowed
to forget it. -

I'm sick to the back teeth of the "I'm just a poor bus driver's son" bullshit.
