  • My bosses mother in law is selling her expensive house in Herts, and although I'm getting all this info probably 4th-hand, some buyers can be right pains in the cunnys can't they; waahhhh it's in a flood risk area, drop the price (it's not), waaahhh the insurance will be higher, drop the price (it won't, it's not a flood risk), waaahhh the septic tank needs replacing (it doesn't, but let's update it anyway just to keep the deal going), waaahh the replacement's going to cost 18k but I want you to stump up 20k to cover the inconvenience (of which there will be none), waaahh there are trees in the neighbours garden that might fall on the house, knock them down!

If she wasn't so desperate to sell and buy a place she's fallen in love with it'd be great to just pull the rug from underneath the twat.

Its Hertfordshire so the buyer will probably just knock it down and build two houses in the same place and sell them to gormless new money footballers

Honestly in this sellers' market I'd be like 'my stock response is "get fucked"'
