My brother got a voodoo steel 29er. It's pretty nice. I think they're really good value. Don't know anything about the alu versions though...

@dicki has one of the steel(?) ones from ebay and seems to rate it. They were being sold by quite cheaply by Halfords a few years ago, so that's possibly where all these ebay ones originated from.
Difficult to go wrong for £50, but going by that picture, it's worth checking with the seller that they include the dropouts & bolts too.

Wasn't sure where to ask this as we dont seem to have a standard MTB thread. Does anyone have any insight to Voodoo MTB frames? Theres one very cheap on eBay here and they get a good review here. Ive got a bunch of spare parts that I could chuck on it, giving me a drop bar setup with a 1x8 bar end shifter or single speed as it has sliding droupouts. If theyre shit, are there any other cheap frames with sliding dropouts?
