  • Golly.

  • You could argue the way women are described RE the amount of sexual partners is in itself a touch misogynistic. And the meme maybe is too. It's also not that lady bits stretch that way...if they did our uteri would've fallen out a long time ago ;)

I wouldn't use such terms myself. If it requires forum policing, not sure.

  • H0-hum...

  • Hint: It's a GOT meme :P

  • @JWestland Is it about how many avocados she's had sex with? Shockingly disrespectful.

  • I know... with all the lack of food in some parts of the world...really disrespectful that :)

  • It's also not that lady bits stretch that way

So that story about the girl from Nantucket isn't true? Every day is a a school day :-)

  • I've only heard the about the man from Nantucket.

Is there something in the water in Nantucket or something.

  • Well you don't live until you've learned something new, been testered(tm) or have a fact corrected right? :-P

Yup, this. It's the "women who have had lots of sex are damaged goods" implication which is misogynistic. I get pissed off by people spuriously taking offence and even I found it pretty unpleasant.

  • You're ruining the meme thread.

  • Jesus... What have I walked into

  • It's a crude visual pun, relating to an often crude and violent tv program. Do people really think more sexual partners leads to a fanny like a bucket? That's pretty funny if they do.

I disagree that it implies hatred of women-the character herself is a thoroughly unpleasant one for lots of reasons that don't involve enjoying sex amongst lots of characters who fuck more and are more positively received; although admittedly this does exclusively seem to involve her family 'members.'

Anyway. puerile yes, vulgar certainly, misogynistic not very.

  • Ah man this is the belm thread all over again

  • This is why I don't watch television.

    So that what it was.

    Yeah, pretty misogynistic.

  • ^ miaowsogynistic.

  • Looks pretty shopped to me, no?
