Nah, they're definitely the long 50mm. I had to drill the rack mount, the daruma is in place as normal. The issue is they're really too narrow and too tight a curve, and I haven't managed to fit a mudflaps so I think I'll just duct tape some inner tube to the end

I see. Apparently you can change the diameter of metal guards by squeezing or spreading them width wise. I think to make a bigger curve you'd need to make them narrower which doesn't really help you.

Yup, I even foolishly thought it was the other way round and started spreading the guard a bit, discovering to my chagrin I'd made it fit even worse
