  • Not to say that the hubs aren't decent enough, but anything with BLB scratched into it will be over-priced.

    BLB don't manufacture anything themselves, so spend some time tracking down the original manufacturer, failing which a less piss-takingly overpriced rebrand.

    Whatever BLB sell, you can buy cheaper elsewhere: guaranteed.

    Basically I'm split between:

    pair of the blb kings on velocity rear and open open pro front (pretty much brand new) - 140 euro or

    pair of DA 7600's on open pros - 225 euro (well used)

    these are the two wheelsets I've found second hand around Dublin. I'm upgrading from a pair of navigator pista wheels which just don't cut it for me personally on Dublin Roads. I'm just worried if I splash out on the DA's I wont be getting the most out of them and am just paying for the look of them, I don't ride track and use my bike as a commuter.

    Any advise anyone has would be very much appreciated
