I was giving some though to just sanding both clamping surfaces down until they're flat and then using a shit tonne of assembly paste / torque to keep the fucker where I want it. Probably not worth it for the 0.5º change in angle I'm after.

My saddle points ever so slightly down, the next point on the seatpost is slightly too nose up. So I was thinking of creating some sort of wedge shim to sit between the saddle rails and the lower seatpost clamp, therefore pushing the nose of the saddle up.
Edit: this is only a thought, not weighed up any cons yet. May have a tinker about in the shed this weekend.
