Hi everyone, help needed!
I remember some time ago a fellow forumenger had a fixed gear bike with brakes, that everyone, incl. myself, sort of lusted after. It was pink (soft pink), and had black componentry, even carbon campagnolo crankset I think. Also (maybe) record carbon single speed brake levers.
Can you please help me find pic of that? Thanks in advance!

?

Thank you, but unfortunately no, these bikes are well known and do not belong to people on this forum. I'm just thinking now, the bike I'm looking for may have had only one brake (front), but two brake levers...
-
• #107859
the second one does belong to a forumer. Was it steel?
-
• #107860
could it possible have had no brakes and two levers ?

I crashed yesterday so broken hand means no riding for a while...took the caad 10 apart to inspect for damage and nothing thank God.
Whilst it's apart and I can't ride, I may paint it! I'm fine with painting alu, it's the carbon forks I'm worrier about.
-
• #107867
Sad news. Let us know how/if the paint job goes.
-
• #107868
carbon forks are an absolute ball ache to sand down. I can't recommend it.
-
• #107869
Yeah I can definitely not recommend stripping paint from carbon forks.
-
• #107870
Well then I guess I won't be painting carbon then. I can't say my caad has a bad colourway
-
• #107871
don't trust the bedwetters ^^, stripping carbon forks is no problem. Just book a day off and bring your best sanding game.
p.s. glad your bike's alright and you're not too buss up
-
• #107872
You don't need to strip the carbon if you're going to paint it anyway.
Just key the existing paint/laquor thoroughly and you don't need primer.
In my experience. -

Cool stuff man!
Steel quill stems are usually more flexible than alloy, Nitto jaguar excepted.
