On the vascular theme, I've been diagnosed with a Retinal vein occlusion (sort of like an eye version of a mini-stroke) which has left me with macular oedema. Vision with my left eye is narrowed vasoline-o-vision.
Supposed to be uncommon in the under 60's and I've checked out negative for all the usual causes (High blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes) and my neck veins and arteries are all normal on a neck ultrasound.
So, one of those random things that will probably mean injections into the eye. yay.
