Trek Alpha 1.5 Road Bike (58cm) £200

Ladies and gents,

Here is my brother's first bike that he owned and we upgraded together.

Unfortunately because we were new to cycling we brought a bike that was a size too big for him and therefore this is pretty much the reason I am selling this bike for him.

A brief description regarding the bike:

Frame size: 58cm
Handlebar: Bontrager Race VR-C 420mm
Bar tape: White Lizard Skin
Stem: Bontrager (110mm)
Seatpost: Bontrager
Saddle: Bontrager
Bottle Cages: Bontrager

Groupset: Shimano Tiagra 9 Speed 4600 (Triple)
Brakes: Shimano Tiagra

Wheelset: Shimano RS20
Tyres: Specialized Armadillo 23mm
Pedals: Shimano R540 SPD SL Road

The bike has had a quick clean, however there are some imperfections with the bike as my brother doesn’t look after his bike like I do:

• Both wheels are off true and will need to be retrued.
  
• Handlebar tape probably best to be replaced IMO
  
  

This bike has done my brother well for his little commute, and I like to think it is a perfect bike for someone who is just getting into cycling. Ideal for commuting and for riding around the country lanes.

Just an FYI: the groupset was a brand new upgrade for the previous sora and still in excellent working condition.

A quick update, after a lot of lifting and turning we have finally got the seatpost out, I've applied copper grease to it and the frame so it is much easier to adjust the seatpost height now.
