  • hey dave

whats the guide lines on freedom of speech on this forum?

  • Legal ones here: https://www.lfgss.com/about/terms/

Community phrased ones here (enshrined in the legal, but easier to read): https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/143848/

tl;dr is: Don't be too much of a dick.

We have a near zero tolerance on racism, sexism, etc... there's really no excuse in this day and age, and yes that includes gender issues.

It's a cycling forum, it's not like any of that stuff should really arise in conversation about riding bikes, or maintaining bikes, etc.

As for moderation policy, it's reactive. I like to see the community call people out on stuff before I get involved. That allows me to understand where the community draw the line, and besides... my only tools are nuclear, so I'm best kept out of stuff until it's inavoidable, I tend towards nuking all parties in an argument, not just the one who feels wronged.

  • Nago is well good

  • Repairo is well good

EDIT fuck sake new page. I was talking about this

  • This, orange one is toit too

  • Why you uploaded this, this bike is my nightmare, how I was able to made something like this, luckily later incarnations were better.

  • 2 things I've learned after catching up on the last 10 pages.

-Very proud to see the reactions/comments on this forum to the hateful language that used to be thrown around so casually. Not sure about the North Carolina bathroom situation in the states but it's constantly on the news. We're used to it though...so much embarrassing things come out of that region (Florida is the worst for facepalm events).

-Cannondale needs start cranking out "retro tracks." Make a few subtle changes to keep the collectors happy but have them made in the US and priced reasonably. Plus it allows people to buy a new frame (without unknown history). Yes, I know there is other makers doing Dale-like frames but a true Cannondale would be so awesome. If we can get GT to start pumping out retro GTB's too, that would be crash the servers here.

In the past, I've seen companies come out with retro versions of past products and all of the collectors sitting on originals asking absolutely ridiculous pricing end up getting screwed when the market drops. Just seeing a two Dales on fleabay...one frame with a large seat tube dent for $1500+ and another complete Track (with dents/scratches) for $3000 makes me want to punch the screen.

  • rly good bikes lately

    death to slave by numbers

  • That low is straight from the future, love it

  • The reason they are cool is that they are old and hard to obtain. People like stuff that's rare, even if it is ancient, rubbish(by todays standards), and bound to crack.

What Cannondale need to do is bosh out a caad12 track which isn't a bodge job of the road frame.

  • I still maintain the caad10 track is awesome.

I think people's closed mindedness is the problem.

Obviously they're a bit gappy but magine how good those frames must ride...

  • It's much nicer in real life

  • dat colossi>>>

  • I bet they ride brilliantly and would be tempted to buy one as a hillclimb/ winter bike, but it does feel like an afterthought and like they just shoved track ends on the road frame. That prevents it from being quite as cool as it could be in my eyes
