Community phrased ones here (enshrined in the legal, but easier to read): https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/143848/
tl;dr is: Don't be too much of a dick.
We have a near zero tolerance on racism, sexism, etc... there's really no excuse in this day and age, and yes that includes gender issues.
It's a cycling forum, it's not like any of that stuff should really arise in conversation about riding bikes, or maintaining bikes, etc.
As for moderation policy, it's reactive. I like to see the community call people out on stuff before I get involved. That allows me to understand where the community draw the line, and besides... my only tools are nuclear, so I'm best kept out of stuff until it's inavoidable, I tend towards nuking all parties in an argument, not just the one who feels wronged.
kifla's post from a few days ago featuring the "she-male" stickers has been deleted.
It is offensive, and is used as a denigration.
The way the forum works is that others get to call people out, and in this case that happened. But... kifla didn't then understand/acknowledge the concern and that's where this went wrong.
I've nuked the post and advised kifla to listen to the community in future.
Re: Multigrooves post above, that's less clear. It's more subjective and as such when it's subjective I usually steer clear. If compelling arguments are made, then perhaps he should delete too... but I won't hastily do so.
