  • So we recently hired a car in Malta, booked through Atlaschoice and fulfilled through GoldCar. We received pretty shocking service from start to finish, including sneakily charging an extra 150 euros as well as providing a car that had to be taken away after two days to have both the clutch and brakes replaced.

    I have lodged complaints with both Atlaschoice and GoldCar, but looking across the net, it seems that lots of people have had issues and have never got their money back.

    Is there anything I can do to get my money back? Both the initial booking and added charges were done on Mastercard.

  • Chargeback from your credit card provider. Keep at them. Be prepared to take them to court for a claim in contract or sale of goods.
