  • No problemo! I'm glad it went well.

  • I am considering swapping the cam for something slightly less agro (I know), as I reckon getting the power at 1k lower in the rev range would be worth the 5 or 6 bhp trade off.

  • Love the 5-door Hatch Cooper S

  • Nah, keep it like this. Fun to rev the nuts off it.

I don't think I've given it full throttle. Yet.

  • BTW, a kid's car seat goes really well in the harness.

  • I was wondering how you pulled that off. The seat, I mean

  • Isn't there something about a small pipe in the bottom of the V that is expensive to get too?

  • Looks safe enough...

  • There's a beauty parked a couple of streets away from me, long wheelbase, wagon version, black... Sex on wheels...

  • Sweet.

  • Went out for a last minute cruise about Epping and Ongar yesterday afternoon, to enjoy the sun with the roof down. Put the GoPro on because I thought I'd try and capture some more of the noise on cam just for @Hefty and some of h tremendous gunfire like overrun. Just as I thought it was time to go home, the alternator belt disintegrated taking the coolant return hose with it. Then to top it off I found out while the GoPro had been on, it hadn't been recording. Oh well.

AA and Kenlee in Romford for the parts got me fixed up thankfully.

  • You should get a Volvo, much more reliable

  • Ken lee still going. Are they still open long hours?

  • Sorry. Send me the bill.

  • FOS 2016 - 100 years of BMW booked.

  • £20-30k and you can get a 90's w460 with a w463 facelift and a manual fuel pump om606 updgrade to give you 25mpg and 300bhp. indestructible 4x4 monster - no brainer.

  • Yep, open until 22:00 every day including bank holidays, which was very lucky for me

  • If any of you are interested, there's a cool article about the Marcos in this month's c&sc

  • Are they still cheap in Poland?

  • Hardly a sleeper but I have a hardon for a 131 Abarth...

  • There's something about 3-box cars that I simply adore.

  • Long term ownership of a G Wagon has taught me that they are not indestructible, in the sense that something is likely to break every time you drive it. But they are great cars. They do suffer from rust and the engines are not suited to lots of motorway miles.

  • Why are they so pricey? Didn't they make many? Saw a real beauty out here a week or so ago, driver was by no means a baller... Just looked like her daily drive, not too well looked after just nice original condition...

  • Sssshhh, I'm secretly planning to buy one
