It is a NOT steel frame, so you can easily use a 130mm rear free hub. Just get a good Shimano cam qr and squeeze the frame a bit.
As for cranks any will do. 110bcd is normal go to bcd in cx, but for ss 130bcd is just as easy to find chainrings for. I used to run cheap 130 bcd SRAM chainrings from 39-42t and then use Surly ss kit on the rear.EDIT for truth

It's aluminium pal.
Lucky you don't teach materials engineering or something similar... -

Sorry. Small screen. Sure I saw a Columbus sticker on the downtube and automatically thought steel... Should have checked. I say squeeze it any way. It is only 2.5mm pr chainstay

That bike doesn't have braze ons for gears. Was originally (9 years ago) built like this:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/25628148@N07/4121832386/in/album-72157623993726302/
It was great. Now its even better.
Someday it will go back to be re-brazed for gears. Or maybe it wont. Maybe it will go back to the above spec. I'm just glad to have it back, and I'd forgotten how race-oriented the geo is. -

Never done SSCX but Hope Trials hubs are 135 spaced. Bit more porky than a freewheel setup but gives you the option to switch cogs out and you could run it 1x5 in the future with one of those DMR hanger if you decide against single speed.

I saw the sticker when I got it and thought the same for a second. Also looks like it came with a bottle opener.
Can I use 29er wheels? Do they come with 10mm axels?

You live in Mamoudzou and you show us pictures of your bikes indoors/in the shade? Get out in the countryside and show us your bikes. I want to see some sweet DOM-TOM countryside!
Interesting saddle btw.

29ers are just 700 rims built to take tyres of a higher profile.
Try a mock setup with regular wheels and see how much clearance there is.
That said I'm pretty sure you could clear up to 700 x 38 easy since it's a CX frame.

650b m0st definitely can fit in those clearance easily, I reckon 42mm will fit, 48mm might be possible.

Interesting saddle!
Also, had to look up Mamoudzou on maps, blew my mind. -

picked up a cheap seat post off an ex c50 roadie owner for this, his had been crashed, looks better imho than the team spec pro one, which had a snapped rail clamp and needed changing

It worked! I don't know which ones I'll use myself but of the blue & black ones they sent four of I can certainly send you a pair if they tickle your fancy.

Hi everyone, help needed!
I remember some time ago a fellow forumenger had a fixed gear bike with brakes, that everyone, incl. myself, sort of listed after. It was pink (soft pink), and had black componentry, even carbon campagnolo crankset I think. Also (maybe) record carbon single speed brake levers.
Can you please help me find pic of that? Thanks in advance!

New bike day for me! This will eventually get used for racing.
Stem might need to go down a bit, waiting for todays maiden voyage before deciding. New tyres have been ordered and i'm on the look out for a new saddle and some fancy race day wheels.

nice, veloce throughout? neutron ultras came as standard?
Ha, that a good phrase :) How's life in the Indian ocean?
You'll probably find the Genesis more comfortable if you rotate the bars down a bit.
