There was some discussion on another forum about the Alpkit thing, consensus seemed to be that the design appeared to be heavily borrowed from SP, but it's not a rebrand. Three main points seemed to be it's heavier, made in China not Taiwan and something else I can't remember... The USB cable is a bit of a gimmick, probably lead to a bunch of exploded phones by people who don't read the instructions or understand electricity.
Regardless of their product "design" ethic, their customer service always used to be good (not heard anything to suggest that's changed...) so you'd probably be ok if you do run into any problems.

Looks like KT's new dynamo (weights are pretty similar - 415-422g). No surprises that it looks very similar to an SP as they used to make the hubshells for SP. These are pretty much brand new (were showing them at Taipei show) so probably not been all that roadtested yet.

Anyone seen this Alpkit/LoveMud dynamo?
Looks very like an SP, which I've definitely seen branded as Exposure and a few other things I think too.
The price is very good, too good almost. CRC have the non disc version of the 'Exposure' hub for £75, a pucker SP is around £95from SJS, £80-odd from ebay, the Love Mud is £59!
I was going to go for this Alfine wheel from ebay which works out about £95 shipped but if the Love Mud is fundamentally an SP it should be better sealed and a bit more efficient no?
