    I just took a new set of masters off my roadie as I need to commute on it next week. The Schwalbe ones that replaced them feel positively dull. Fine, but dull.

  • 25mm Veloflexes are by far the nicest 'riding' clinchers I've ridden. Durability has been better than the Vittoria equivalent with no cuts after 250miles on a mix of city and country roads.

    Friends in Holland have often complained that the roads are great but also paved in "diamonds". Since Holland is generally pretty flat it seems, despite rain, that the glass shards stay on the road and just get pounded into a splinters instead of washed away. As in Germany beer bottles have much lower deposits (10 cents) than plastic (25 cents).
