Sam is now home and struggling to eat with a cone of shame. I've had to feed him out of my hand.
He hasn't stopped purring though; he seems very excitable. I'm assuming that is a combination of being home and the drugs.

Our cats came home practically gurning after their snip ops - eyes like saucers and purring for 18 hours straight. I envied them! The vet said sedatives can do that to cats...

This is a natty alternative to the cone of shame.
