  • It's at Matt whom can do v.2 a lots quicker.

New centre pull, integrated rear light, and pump peg with a chrome job is the final job.

V:1 was great, lots of audaxes later help me finalised v2.

  • Greetings Ed,

Oak-ay - is Ryan still with us?
He seems to have gone underground...
    What a g'waan please ?

    Give thanks,
    Tim

    P.S. - V2 is lookin' good....

  • I've just asked Nik this five minutes ago, she reassure me that Ryan is still putting out quality metalwork, his website got spammed is all.

  • A good news story....

    Give thanks Ed...

    Hope all is well...

  • Bump

  • @edscoble how are the new brakes running?

  • Soon.

Another communication cock up (a disadvantage of having a disability), mean it'll now get painted in metallic silvers, as chrome is now not possible on that bicycle.

At some point, it'll be build up again and better than before, including (oddly enough) older components that are actually lighter, like the seat pin* with Brompton seat clamp for instance kept the weight down to around 180g (the Pentaclip ironically weight more than the seatpin).

    *weight a mere 85g

  • Frame's nearly ready!

  • Excited to see this finished!

  • Note the pump pegs on the seat stay and the small tell tales sign of a mount on the seat tube for the rear light.

  • Dura ace triple? For the big range?

    Also needs dust cap.

  • Ah, the old brake-blocks-into-the-spokes braking technique. @Cycliste tried that once on a mountain bike, back in the olden days when mountain bikes had cantis. Undeniably effective, but lacks modulation.

  • Not finish yet, got chrome bolt to replace Shimano.

The braze on was set for 50/34, not 46/30, so that derailleur helped.
