Got a rolling chassis of sorts. The chainring/crank combo is giving me a chainline of 51mm. If I mount the chainring to the inner ring mounting of the cranks its 41mm but too tight to the chainstay. what are the options for correcting this with an old school bb?
And given I'm a total newcomer to discs, how easy is it to shorten hoses? I'm assuming it's a massive ball ache best taken care of by a professional.

The graphics on those chainrings are grim. I had the same problem but turned the ring backwards and used longer bolts. It seems OK.
