I'm sure I've seen a video of them using a wooden tipped screwdiver to hold the screw from the front while they screw the nut parts from the back.

Wooden screwdriver!? It gets better. :oP

I'm no engineer, but:
Surface of hexagon > the slot.
Even if you wanted to use the slot to "hold" the bolt in place, how would that work? At best you'd be adding another force preventing the bolt from moving (well, squishing).
Happy to be taught otherwise.

I'm seriously thinking about one of these: http://wsd.casio.com/us/en/
It's pretty much all I want from a smartwatch... nothing as locked-in as the Garmin and Suunto, and nothing as fashionista as the Apple Watch... just a simple set of sensors, the ability for me to choose the kind of battery life I need in the moment (a few days, a month, something inbetween)... and deep integration with Android.
I particularly like the lack of GPS (whilst providing all other sensors), because GPS is the one that kills your battery.
I don't even think it looks too bad.
Well, it doesn't look as bad as it could look.

Does anybody want to buy a late 60s gold filled Omega Seamaster 600?
Will be looking for £300 for it. Its a very tidy watch for the age.

I'm very colour blind... is that not grey? Maybe it's green, that's usually the colour I get confused with.
I only really know grey by hex codes. Same for green.
Reds on the other hand I can see just fine.

Although looking back it was David who started it.
Having said that I am struggling to find any reference imagery to back this up. :oP
