Oyster cards, soft sharp plastic, soft paint stripper tool etc. should get it off without damage as long as your careful and have patience. I can see it taking a good few nights though so good luck!
Oh and its most prob not the best idea to use any sort of chemical stuff on it just to be on the safe side.
