Mulling over the idea of getting extra cash using Street Stream, but can't find any real reviews. Anyone got any experience working with it?

Seen quite a few people doing it. Quiqup is basically the same. Heard customer tips with them are often quite good.

Cheers, had a look at Quiqup too as I hadn't heard about it Quiqup. Neither are available on Android so it's a no go for me right now.

I was one of the first bike couriers with them.
App was really easy to use and you can decide how much you want for each different job.
The problem it wasn't busy that days, but I left London in May.
Hope now they are much busier -

Streetstream is awesome. I've been part of the courier team since March. There's a great team ethos. Workload varies, but it's great as a second source of income.

This company lets couriers quote on clients for jobs they have recommended rates and make you work at those rates the minute you increase you get a load of nagging from the staff. I worked for them for 2-3 months and I was quoting more than the recommended rates as it's not compulsory for you to do the recommended rates. I have done loads of jobs for them and they have kicked me out for quoting high. When you have an emergency they'll tell you to take the tube so that you can leave your motorcycle unattended and get it stolen. They'll tell you that quoting too high damages their reputation but that is not true as customers have the choice of choosing which quote or courier they'd like. So if your a client looking for a parcel to be sent and expect a happy courier this will not be the company as they control what you quote and remove you from their platform if you quote higher than the recommended rates. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A HAPPY COURIER.
This is what you call modern day slavery.
Street Stream, the iPhone app that allows couriers to work for themselves is launching this month. Check out beta.streetstream.co.uk. It is open for couriers to register. Basically the app allows you to work for yourself: set your own rates; set your own hours; set your own territory that you want to cover; choose which jobs you want to take. The app is free to download. Once registered and verified you will receive job alerts through the app.http://beta.streetstream.co.uk
