It's a matter of time. I'm currently in my end of year exams and also sitting exams outside of my course. So I don't have the time to ride all day every day. Once they clear up, I can start banging out some long rides.
Riding a 10 isn't training, but it is good fun and keeping mentally fresh is important. The day after the 10, I've a 100 mile road race, which will be 400TSS. Then the day after I'll do a 6+h ride.Theres also that over 6-7 hours a bike ride doesn't have much more physiological benefit, just psychological. And my brain is hard as nails already.
It worked last year for me. And I've brought a lot of new things in to deal with the issues I had.
Start sheet is up on CTT.

Good luck cat skinning, just think about what I said though - forum winner would be cool and it's not gonna be me with that parcours.
I need to learn the e2/10 course (presume it's simple) and then try to recover for the 50mi the day after.
