I have 2x spare pump adaptor from my HED3 days.

What is the deal with the silver coloured adapter? The part that connects to the pump is threaded which is unusual?

I believe I have the same one (Silva?) - it's threaded, but fits into the Schrader end of my track pump securely.

Thanks. As ever there is so much good information available here.

It is also worth noting that it is quite difficult to pump up HED3 / discs over 9 bars / 130psi on your own as those adaptors do not have a "lock on" mechanism that grips the valve.
So depending on the pressure you need, it might be a two people job to get the the right psi (one pumping, one holding the valve).
Or you need to invest in a better adaptor - I am sure @mdcc_tester can advise. -

If you're riding on your own, you don't need over 9 bar. The tandem gets 10, but the TT bike gets 7.5F/8R

Having said that, get a locking valve connector, Hirame Yoko or one of the cheap knock offs or the tarty (but still relatively cheap) KCNC.
As above, in need of a a rear wheel, flip flop hub, one that spins preferably. Also need a pump adaptor that will fit cut out that is just over one inch in depth, 2 wide with 2 above valve.
Thanks!!
