Don't think I've ever unclipped so much in a single ride.

Sounds much better than my ride at Swinley.
Didn't think to book, but shouldn't be a problem, only one guy doesn't have a bike. Turns out that, of 4 others, 3 didn't bring their bikes either. Luckily we found out before getting stuck in traffic going round the m25, but a waste of a day anyway

It's been a bit quiet around here for a bit! Anyway, I'm heading down to Epping shortly.... Should be there in about 3 hours ;0)

No need to start Epping rides from Chingford there's great Singletrack pretty much from Walthamstow/Leytonstone and especially woodford if you know where to look a lot of it runs dryer than bits of the forest further out. Central London to Walthamstow is only 50 minutes on road even on a SS MTB!

There's certainly a few good bits of trail around there too though.
