Whats the bad news though? -

Crack in the seattube clamp area unfortunately guys. I'm gutted, looked so good with the wheels on. I've contacted the seller but no reply so far

Make your mind up ;) good news regarding the refund, pack that box out for sending it back would be an utter shame if it got damaged further and your claim was compromised :)

Is he/ they gonna cover the return postage once it's arrived?
-
• #391
Very much doubt it

Some good news for a change, spent a long time today cleaning the old glue off the grey disc I have, only a quarter more to go. Upon inspection I can see some brown weave through some of the paint chips. Which means it is most likely to be a fluidisc :~)
What do we think the best way is to remove the grey paint?

I knew it!
Oyster cards, soft sharp plastic, soft paint stripper tool etc. should get it off without damage as long as your careful and have patience. I can see it taking a good few nights though so good luck!
Oh and its most prob not the best idea to use any sort of chemical stuff on it just to be on the safe side. -

Okay so I've been tempted in to buying this:
It's in the states with with the frame cost, shipping and vat, it's going to cost me a pretty penny. This means I'd have to sell some stuff and the most obvious candidate for me is the OSCA. I'm doubting whether I really need 2 track lo pro's, and I really need to finish the Tom so if I sell the OSCA I'll have money to get the Sheriff star wheels built, and get the last few finishing pieces. Plus I only have enough parts for 3 frames and if I keep the OSCA I'll have 4 so 1 would remain unbuilt.
So if I go with that, my collection would consist of:
Anchor -track use and good weather cruising
Neil -everyday run around
Tom -porn lo pro
Road Neil -for any long distance stuffAm I doing the right thing?

I'd do the Neil and the Osca, personally!
Right, that disc. I work with composites and I'd strongly recommend against using paint stripper. I don't know what resin they used but paint stripper will almost certainly attack it and I'm fairly sure it'll just dissolve Kevlar fibres on contact. Either of those will compromise the strength of the wheel. Your best bet will be to carefully sand back the paint which will be a ball ache of a job, but, in my opinion, least likely to wreck your wheel.

Nothing wrong with having unbuilt frames. Not that I have any...
There aren't many OSCA esque lo pros like that around.
Thats my opinion, I wont attempt to medal in your financial affairs.

For me ild keep the OSCA over the anchor!

anchor over everything.. Sell your soul to the devil if you have to
Ah right, they are Vittoria Corsa SC. I believe gumwalls are fine, it's only the tread which has to be black
