Nutshell's?
Yes
the section from the exit of the bar to the stop is pretty tortuous.
He did say it was fiddly, the test will be whether it works well enough.
judging by what he paid to have them made I don't think I'll be taking the plunge.
I think he's expecting to make a loss, much as I did with the bullets, as long as he gets his for less than it would have cost to make only his.

I've just seen his thread on TTF: I didn't realise they incorporated a "slam dat stem" cover: the whole exercise makes more sense to me know.
Of course, it does mean that they wouldn't work for me though.

Whaaaaaaat? I put a swimming hat over my road helmet before the spread of aero road helmets and everyone thought I was a weirdo.

That wasn't why :-)

I think a swimming cap stretched tightly over a bog-standard, vented road helmet often looks quite good - certainly better than some aero road helmets.

I have no idea what you're talking about!

Carnac aero Road helmet for £30 from planet-x. Worth a punt? Anyone got one or tried one?
-

Basically a knockoff Octal isn't it? Probably worth a try for £30. They've got an exact copy of the Bambino on the way too.

Cheers, gone for it. Hopefully I can fit my huge head into it. Almost went for the tasteful "Flanders" colourscheme, but ended up with sturdy black...

Should have gone Flanders for max PX Chopper points

• #1617
Haha, and matching Flanders bibs and jersey of course!
Been considering an aero pisspot for a bit now, maybe keep my head a bit warmer in winter. Hopefully can't go too wrong for £30...

PS What do you make of Pnut's tweak? Initially I thought it was a mocked-up joke.

The elbow pads and mono-pole? He must like it, and Mick Fountain has been running a similar set up for donkey's years. Wouldn't suit me, but everything from the elbows to the hands is highly personal for comfort, security and aeros.

So does Nik B, at least he was on his 12hr space bike.

Far too phallic for my liking. There should only be one cock on my bike and that's me.

Rad. Whose is that? I've always liked Mick Fountain's single extension setup... I wondered about trying it myself.
Nutshell's?
Looks snazzy, but the section from the exit of the bar to the stop is pretty tortuous.
