Am thinking of treating myself to a new watch. I'm looking for a nice, classic looking automatic, pilot style - sort of the next level up from my Seiko5. I had thought Hamilton but they're not really doing it for me. Suggestions?

Possibly not quite on brief, but I'd have a look at;
- Zenith
- Longines
- Tissot (the "Heritage" line is nice, fucking hate that phrase tho)

I'm not a big fan of Tissot, although in 20 years they might have gotten better.
My Tissot the second dial (where the numbers are) keeps separating from the main dial. I've not bothered to repair it for the forth time so it just sits in a box.
