I went to his house yesterday and did that strange thing of pottering around looking through 1000 whilst he put his kids to bed. Got 120 for about £1.20 each - all second hand shop stock from Whitby. Most priced at £7-9,m but then I was on a full on charm offensive.

He's going to let me know his plans for the 100k - although most likely selling to a dealer; unless anyone else fancies volunteering to spend a day sorting in the warehouse?
He knows his onions though, so had already snaffled the obscure / rare / valuable from the thousand I saw.
