Didn't he flat 20km from the finish?
-
• #7778
Ah, cheers, didn't know most of that, e.g. about single-sex tournaments.

You can thank your lucky stars I have no offspring.

I just remembered you having called him an orange before, no?
-
• #7781
Flat or no flat at that point in the race I reckon I could have come in 17 minutes behind them...
-
• #7782
An orange? Is that a compliment or an insult?
I think he's a decent rider, although he's wasted at Sky, but he comes across as a bit of a tit at times. But then most pro bike riders are, wrapped up in a self absorbed bubble.

He's a pro bike racer, once it was apparent he wasn't getting back on, he'll have sat up and ridden to the finish at a steady pace to save energy for another day. I think the fact that Sky didn't send anyone back to help him (although it's not clear if there was anyone other than Thomas left in the front group at that point) suggests he was either off form or ill (Kwiatkowski was reported to have a bug on Twitter earlier).

Calling an orange and orange. An apple an apple.
Just calling him out for saying silly things before. -

^ I think you're comparing apples with oranges

I'm proper gutted about this and makes me slightly concerned that the tinfoil hat brigade over at the Clinic were right all along
Froome's not going to win the Tour at this rate. And Geraint 'G' Thomas doesn't look like he's ready either.
