  • They're 700x30, which is the ideal size for what I need.

  • .

  • @Scrabble I got less than 1000 miles on the 25c Clements before front tyre started detaching from bead and rear tyre wore thin and started getting punctures.

    I would avoid.

  • slick, 40+mm, 700c tyres with tan sidewalls. Do such things exist?

  • Soma Supple Vitesse also, Specialized Fatboy if you can find them

  • Thanks, but can't seem to find any of those in stock in the UK. Had seen the fatboys but only in black.

  • Closest I can easily find is Compass Barlow Pass, but that's 38c

  • Yeah spotted those too, thanks. The build it's for will take 45-5m so looking to get as close to that as possible. Also under £30 a tyre would be good. The search continues...

  • Any experiences with Compass Chinook Pass or Grand Bois Cerf?
I have Open Pave 27c and GP4kII 28c and I am very happy with both, but I need a little gum wall in my life...

  • Why not the Challenges? Can be had for not a lots.

  • I rarely here anybody say anything nice about them. But they can be in the mix.
    Especially if they are fast.

  • The Paris Roubaix is to be avoid, the Strade Biancha is awesome, even on gravel road.

Climbing up the Pyrenean road climb feel nice and smooth, and tackling the gravel road with minimal fuss (compare to 25mm) make it a great all-round tyres.

  • Anyone know how 26c Spesh Turbo Cottons size up on 23mm rims? Heard they're a bit small.

For reference - hoping they'll stretch out a little

  • Which big fuck off 26" slicks? Was looking at compass rat trap pass but 2.3" might be just too wide for my frame, but still want something nice to ride.

  • 28c summer tyres for inner London riding?
Would like something fast and supple but decent puncture protection (because London). Do quite a few miles as well but I doubt I could kill a set before Autumn. G+ are still a bit too expensive now.

  • Schwalbe Ones's ? Vittoria's and the more supple tyres don't tend to do so well with glass cuts

At 28mm+ thought I dare say tyre suppleness won't make that much difference to ride quality when you've got a large volume of air and can run them at lower pressures.

  • Turbo Cotton are amazing. That's all.

  • I used to ride One's a year or two ago and they were great, had zero complaints. Was actually thinking about them already but wanted to see if there's anything else.

  • Does anyone know where I can find Panaracer Pasela PT 32c amber sidewall in Lonon? Need them (actually one) sharpish after a Tredz debacle.

  • Awesome, thanks!

  • Just received a package of Veloflex Master 25's - the logo is now printed on both sides. There is a directional arrow one only one side though. Suppose the new batches have this to end the Drive side or not debate. They also feel far thinner than the Vittoria Open Corsa SC they are replacing.

The Schwalbe One set that i rode on yesterday are very nice, fast and no doubt tougher but I may go nuts and swap them for the veloflexes just for my last London/Epping spin. Will probably destroy them but at least I'll avoid paying import duty in Sydney...

  • Just installed Veloflexes... fliipen eck they come up small! 25mm looks more like a 20 or 23!
Compared to vittorias that looked like a 28
