330d is a bit of a beast and they can be remapped to big power quite easily.

Every man should own a fast estate once in their lives.
I'm still sniffing around for an RS2 in that special "lairy cunt" blue.

I would like a fast estate. Even medium fast would do.

That's the kiddie.
I'm happy to pay decent money for one, but all the ones that are popping up of recent times have been molested more than anything Japanese and are riddled with appalling after-market add ons.

Whilst im in here, can report the the new Yoko Advan Sport tyres are amazing. Much better that my old Michy Pilot SuperSports. Crazy grip. Yet to try them in heavy rain.
MPG has dropped to about 26 tho..... angry face -

Articulation?
Having owned a few proper off roaders, I found that changing tyres to road bias tyres reduced vehicle noise and lost off road grip on slippy stuff.

If only that were £45k cheaper I have that.

Road tyres would be completely useless around here as winter conditions are typically two inches of liquid mud over slippy clay. The best compromise for on/off road I have found are Grabber AT2, which do both pretty well, but obviously are not proper mud tyres. Any other suggestions?

Have to say despite small size my FWD 2L TDI moves if I want it to. Eats motorway anyho.
Now got 2 nips and clobber with the Mrs, so next step roofbox stylez.
I think primarily due to remap by Geez, which Audi will no doubt reverse to hairdryer when they get their hands on it. (Keep getting letters)

Have used Maxis before and goodyear, mainly what the tyre place could do the cheapest.
Alot of the bigger stuff was bar tread as that was the size available.

yep, the general grabber a/t is a good tyre, others i've had on the old shogun: goodrich all terrain t/a, and vredestein wintrac extreme, both satisfactory
Yeah that's what I was thinking, big engined 3 series Touring. Also saw an article a while back on the 540i, most of the power of an M5 without the bills
