Despite what I said 2 weeks ago, I sadly can't make this so it looks like I'll be holding everyone up on a hilly route in a fortnight.

Rode the Downs Link on Saturday in jeans and cotton underwear which has resulted in some sensitive skin issues, but am keen to ride out. May have to see how it goes tho

I def can't do this one but I'm poss up for the next one

We have quite a few routes so we only tend to do each one 2 or 3 times a year. The DARK rides are fortnightly at the moment but when Summer arrives we might start doing weekly rides. Check the main thread for notifications of upcoming rides and have a look at this thread for what the rides are about and the routes we do.

edit: but slightly less exciting because I didn't go for overshoes

I too have a rain jacket but it's not very good at keeping the rain out. Should be ok to get me round the ride in reasonable comfort and I'll be buying a beer jacket for the ride home.

I do have overshoes but they are not quite as good at keeping the water out as my rain jacket.
