We were debating whether an ad this good would get made these days. Not just the execution, but an ad with a proper high brow art concept (inspired by a Walter Crane painting and Moby Dick, filmed in black and white) with music commissioned from Leftfield...
Was the late 90s as good as it got for TV advertising? Was it the golden age? TV is so fragmented now, I wonder if you could achieve the same impact because the days of lots of people watching one of a small number of channels are gone.
Are there any good adverts at the moment or am I just missing them because I only watch stuff on the internet? ;)
