  • I've opened a dispute and he has replied to me. He's basically saying the crack wasn't there when he sent it, however I see no way how it could of happened during transport. Either way it wouldn't my issue but his with the delivery company.

He told me that he won't refund me so looks like I'll have to end up making a claim.

Yeah I'll give PayPal a ring today

  • Yeh when I have had problems via PayPal I have always rung them and been friendly and built up a rapport with the person on the other end of the blower. Shows them that you mean well, makes them believe your side of the story more also. Also it's a good idea to go to a few bike shops and get written signed statements saying the frame isn't safe to ride and say that on the phone and that you will upload them in your supporting documents in your claim.

  • Has anybody ever had a problem getting there money back from paypal as a buyer ? They always side with the buyer don't they ? I don't have any personal experience as never had a problem as a buyer, or a seller, but there seem to be a lots general moaning from sellers regarding it.

  • Yeah I'll get on that today, taking it to a couple of bike shops is a good idea. He's trying to tell me that a crack in a used carbon frame is acceptable and that I'm being 'sensitive'...
