Internal cable routing complicates everything, although some frames are much better than others. If you can get hold of the thin casings that come in some new frames or something similar you can put that over the old cable, remove the old cable then put through the new ones easily. There are various other tips and tricks too involving magnets and such, but some long, thin tubing is best.

that looks good - I paid a tick more from Merlin, I think was closer to 300. But I got a spare set of the latest brand new 105 Shifters if you want to take them off my hands, totally unused and still in box. One went on to a set of bars for abt 10 mins before I pulled it off again. Then I bought the whole set.

I got mine from here - just ordered some more as turns out there are no mounting points for a rear 'guard on Charge Plug 0. Annoyed, as I thought it was just the drop out fixing point which was missing.

I know transfil housings are @mdcc_tester approved, but does anyone know if this is actually compressionless or just normal housing?

I know the KBLE housing I fitted recently wasn't compressionless, so that description may be dubious- think the compressionless stuff is black/flying snake.

Good to know. Luckily my tandem (where this may well go) has cable stops so there's surprisingly little housing needed.
