does it make the same lovely DING that the Spur one does? Really fancy one of those for ~£10, rather than the 40-odd BLB want.

Yeah it makes a great noise, not annoyingly loud. Loud enough to alert a guy with headphones in, crossing the road earlier, didn't stop him from walking in front of me, locked eye contact and all.

But not obnoxiously loud either. I really like the position of it, easy to use!

I have both Spur and Rockbros and the sound is indistinguishable to my ears. Bought a bunch of rockbros after my first one, now all my bikes have great bells.

went mountain biking with them on sunday (as my caad is still unusable due to inept cunts at madison/shimano) and they were great!

and no I don't work for abcam, they just send me loads of freebies and try and sell me things for my PhD
