The fact she was binned on 'performance' grounds and the performances against France held up as examples whilst she was faster than their 1st rider in the last 9 races head to head does suggest she might not have actually been the problem.

Also telling that two other riders, Nicole Cooke and Vicky P, have spoken up for her and said they have experienced similar sexism after they have retired, while those within the set up still, like Rowsell, have contradicted her. Speak out and lose your spot it seems.
