Forum doesn't always email thread updates and my big ride meant I'm a couple of days behind Twitter.
I wonder if his micro-dosing got the better of him?

He has. Yesterday.
That Sky rider didn't deserve the win. It just doesn't feel right...

I thought the non-response from BC at the end was pretty disappointing.

Shane Sutton sexist and insensitive? The sport world not treating women equally? I am shock.

I have been watching this with interest. I'm glad Varnish's being backed up because I was concerned there were people who might try to paint her as neurotic and paranoid (the way people do when women tend to complain about things - even other women).

Probably because you follow Vayer, Ufe and all the other trolls and sceptics. He used a blocking bot to block everyone who follows them or ,ay have liked a post of theirs.
-
• #7644
I wish I could use a bot to block his use of emojis.

I don't follow Vayer, he follows me for some reason. I do follow Paul Kimmage, that could be the reason.

I'm pretty sure he bullied the fuck out of Wiggo but no one was calling for Sutton's head when Wiggo was winning the Tour and Gold...
I do think their selection process is a bit fucked up, but I don't see how the fact none of the men finished the race necessarily means they shouldn't have been sent in the first place. The offer of a ride around in the car was laughable though.
I guess I need to read Nicole's book.

What was galling was the fact the men got all the best, newest bikes, even the reserves

I mean this sort of shit is really poor:
"One aspect of the programme was described by the British Cycling manager responsible, Rod Ellingworth, as the attempt to replicate the win of Tom Simpson in 1965, “the only one won by any British Professional in the road worlds”. Which is fine provided that you ignore the wins of Beryl Burton, Mandy Jones and myself."

The fact she was binned on 'performance' grounds and the performances against France held up as examples whilst she was faster than their 1st rider in the last 9 races head to head does suggest she might not have actually been the problem.
