Anyone used the old style Power2Max with the temp fix?

What's the difference between it and the Type-S? Is it just a bit heavier?

I have. I've got 3 of them. You have to be a bit careful replacing the battery - if you strip the threads holding the battery cover in place then it's a goner. But no complaints - they seem to work fine.

They say you have to be careful with the S-Type too. Are the Classics more susceptible to thread damage?
