Would love an E90 M3 saloon but I reckon my insurer would shit themselves then send me a bill for their pants

SPOTTED in E17, Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy, obviously cherished with a personal plate, something like T4 0PHY, and an evo sticker in the rear window, lust

Would love a 182 trophy! I'm not entirely sure if the 182 Cup version in Australia is the same but luckily no one loves a Renault in aus so prices are low. Might have to get one.

It is quite easy, the 2/7/9 rear wheel drives have lots of underbonnet space. The issues is the back end, keeping the volvo stuff of going for the beemer stuff. Then where the gear stick fits though the floor or using a gearbox with a remote change. Suspect the biggest big is the engine electronics.

Big lads in a Moggy. Might as well strap a couple of rockets to a roller-skate then strap the skate to your arse.

Hmm I quite like the interior but ditch that bonnet!!

My sentiments exactly.

good people of the forum, the trusty shogun is dieded so am looking for a replacement 4wd as everyone in the countryside must own a 4x4.
am I mad to be test driving and considering the finance on a L494 range rover sport?
SDV6 autobiography trim..

• #27687
Yes. Hideous depreciation.
-
• #27688
As well as the obvious "Oh, couldn't afford a proper one?" views from the owners of the proper ones.

And being associated with men who run "businesses" in Essex.

THE BONNET. (And the sticker.)
Otherwise, I'd be perfectly happy with that.
I'd LOVE another M3.

Range Rover sports are fine by me, it's the Evoque that's got the whiff of third division footballer's wife about it.

Get a Discovery.

Essex be boom town atm

Would bloody love a rangy but not a new one, absolutely mental prices

Someone on my road's got a brand new full-fat RanRov, top spec, must be 80 grand before options? God knows how they afford it, I mean I know Walthamstow's on the up but it's not exactly Kensington. Or even Kennington.

The Evoke looks like its roof deflated.
-
• #27697
If you want a 4WD, at least get one which is capable of going further off-road than a manicured lawn in high summer, Range Rover Spurts and Evoques can't.
-
• #27698
Yeah. You need one that floats too.

acherly strong residuals
having driven both, there's not much in it when highly (autobiography) specced, the aesthetics of the L494 appeal to my inner London barraboi mindset, but not to the extent of 22" black wheels and trim
I run a business in northants now...
@Emyr - discos are indeed the more capable offroader
@Colin_the_Bald - the RR is surprisingly capable if the right wheel/tyre combo is used
Coming from the assured (and comfy) tractor that is the Shogun, my main problem is that I can go to Firs in Hook Norton and get two brand new Shogun SG4s for the price of one RR/RRS

If you want luxury motoring that'll actually go off road too, just buy a Nissan Patrol or the Infinity version.
Apparently you can get them replaced under warranty if under 100k miles. Might be worth looking into.
