Interesting read, thanks.
Drop bars means hydraulic 10 speed shifters, which means £££, which means months before I can finish the build. So no chance for the time being. I'm also planning on doing nothing other than commuting on it this year so I don't think it's a sacrifice. Next summer I can see it setup with drops & alfine though
