Not as neat as on top (or as a real one, but then that's hardly surprising).
Didn't spend too long trying to get the tight radius curves, so some of them are just cut into segments.
Also, as my length of leather was only just long enough, both the tail and the nose were more difficult than they might have been, had to put a small patch in on the nose
I re-covered a saddle today. Bought a stripped shell from Shroom, although not sure what model it was from, and some leather off-cuts from ebay for £2.99
It was a pretty easy job actually. Removed the rails, used pritstick on the shell to give it enough tack to get a rough outline. Cut out the two halves of the shape, and then use some stronger glue on the undersides/folds to stick it down. Dunno how durable it will be, but for ~£35 all in it seems like a bargain
